Dr. Vincenzo Bombara DPT, GCS, MBA.
I went to Florida International University for my Bachelors in Exercise Science/ Pre Physical Therapy in 2003. Upon graduation I was accepted into the Doctorate of Physical Therapy Program in 2008-2011. I continued with a Post-Professional Residency and specialized in Geriatrics becoming a Geriatric Clinical Specialist in 2013 where I would mentor Doctorate Physical Therapists at the St. Catherine’s/University of Miami Residency. I worked on a task force with the Florida Physical Therapy Association for continuing competencies in 2013. In April 2014 I spoke at a State level conference for the Florida Physical Therapy Association regarding residencies and post professional development. In 2014 I attended a workshop in LSVT Parkinson’s treatment becoming a certified therapist in Parkinson’s therapy known as LSVT BIG Therapy. In 2014 I worked with Nova University and University of Miami assisting with clinical data collection on live patients with a “Safe Slide Board” Protocol. I assisted with teaching and guest lecturing at University of Miami June 2014 regarding treating patients with dementia and cognitive decline as well as the geriatric community. In 2019 I went back to school to earn an MBA at Barry University. Currently I am a Director of Rehab in a 120 bed facility in Boca where I oversee PT/OT/SLP clinical care and programing. I manage key performance indicators ensuring optimal care while maximizing rehab operations and labor.
